We have been to a number of events hosted by Funky Treacle and we were so impressed by the quality of music and range of music played that we booked them for our Inaugural ‘One in a Million Ball’ in February, to raise money for Epilepsy Action in memory of our daughter, Carla. Headed up by Neil Shaw-Hulme, Funky Treacle arrived promptly and professionally set up and checked all their equipment – at the end the were veryaccommodating and played additional tunes by popular demand! The Ball had 250 guests from a wide range of ages and the Band managed to accommodate everyone’s tastes as everyone was dancing on the dance floor. The band were absolutely superb from beginning to end and a pleasure to work with and I cannot recommend them highly enough for any event. The singers and musical ability of the individual members of the Band is clearly apparent and explains why they have worked with so many top Bands in the past. We were so delighted with their service that we immediately booked them for our second Charity Ball next February, where we hope to have twice as many people! I’ve never seen a band work so hard to ensure that their audience were having a good time. Funky Treacle were so amazing and made sure everyone was dancing at my wedding, ALL night! They are not only very talented and very professional but also bring a lot of fun to the proceedings. Catherine has an amazing voice and Neil is charismatic and quite frankly a musical genius. I could not be happier and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you doesn’t seem quite enough, but it’s all I have, so thank you guys. I hope very much to see you perform again soon!
